Samsung Galaxy S4 Rumored to Ship in February at MWC
Android fans couldn't care any less about Apple's iPhone 5 launch, and luckily for them, there are other phones more to their liking on the horizon. One of them comes from none other than Samsung, which is reportedly going to unveil its Galaxy S IV device at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in February.
This information comes from The Korea Times, which claims it received confirmation from Samsung officials and local parts suppliers in the area. The timing makes sense, given that Galaxy S III devices are selling well -- over 20 million units sold in just over three months -- and should continue to do so throughout the holiday shopping season. From purely a hardware perspective, the Galaxy S III stacks up nicely against the iPhone 5, even exceeding it in several areas, including screen size, expandable storage, and so forth.

Fujifilm's camera department has been going the opposite way. The company has just released the XF1 point-and-shoot camera, with a bit of retro flair and an f/1.8 lens that should make nighttime shooting a bit more enjoyable. The camera touts a 4x manual zoom, a 2/3" 12 megapixel EXR CMOS sensor, and it's available in three motifs: a dimpled synthetic black leather, a smooth synthetic tan leather and a synthetic red leather. Other specs include a 25mm wide-angle lens, optical image stabilization, macro mode shooting, an all-new on-screen graphical user interface and a 3" LCD monitor on the rear. It'll ship in October for $499.95, and the full list of specs can be found below.

Nokia-Licensed Amazon Maps API Beta
Well, Amazon is being pretty tight lipped about the details of its mapping service, but Nokia isn't afraid to spill the beans. A spokesperson for the Finish company, Sebastian Kurme, told The Next Web that Amazon is indeed licensing the Nokia Location Platform for its latest Google-shunning product. We reached out as well and were fed the exact same official statement, confirming that Nokia is becoming an even bigger player in the mapping sphere. The platform is already the basis for Yahoo! Maps and a large portion of Bing's offerings as well. Not to mention Nokia Drive, the company's navigation software, is one of the crown jewels of the Windows Phone world. Check out the full statement from Nokia below. Amazon is licensing the Nokia Location Platform (NLP) for maps and geocoding. The Nokia Location Platform is the most advanced mobile location platform with a unique global footprint. It provides maps for almost 200 countries (with more than 100 of them navigable) and provides the best, automotive-grad.
